2011 Juno Awards Returns to Toronto

Will Toronto-born rapping sensation Drake be at the 2011 Juno Awards?

2011 will mark the 40th anniversary of the Juno Awards, a Canadian Awards show that first aired in the '70s.

The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) announced that "JUNO WEEK" will take place between March 21 and March 27, and will be filmed at the Air Canada Center in Toronto, Ontario.

Melanie Berry, CEO of CARAS, tells the Toronto Star,"You’ll see a lot more lead-up to the 40th anniversary and a lot more opportunity for people to come out and experience great music. That’s the key, to get the music out there … Toronto can’t be shown up. It needs to set the bar right up there.”
