So it seems tonight is Lunar Eclipse night! And not just any Lunar Eclipse, a rare one! What does this mean? It means the lunar disc turn orangey-red-y while the center point of the Earth’s shadow passes across the moon… for two hours!
Apparently, the last eclipse like this was in 2000, and the next one won’t be until 2018. But it’s ok, as GOOGLE and YOUTUBE are streaming the whole event until 6pm ET this evening!
Not a fan of eclipses? It’s ok. While others are staring at a Blood-Red Moon for two hours, here’s what we recommend doing:
– Play with a pet
– Watch the pilot episode for the original series of BEVERLY HILLS 90210 and see how long you can go before pointing out Brandon Walsh’s hilarious hair
– Take up knitting
– Quit your new knitting hobby
– Try to memorize the “Countries of the World” song by Yakko Warner
– Take up knitting again
