Dog Saves Owner’s Life

A dog really is man’s best friend! When a 73-year-old man slipped and fell down a gully, he was probably pretty happy that he had his dog with him. He was hurt and unable to get up. The only thing stopping him from rolling into the freezing cold water was a fence.

His terrier curled up beside him and stayed with him for two whole days until a farmer found him. Rescue workers say that by sharing its body heat, the dog helped his owner survive and not die of cold.

This isn’t the first time a dog has saved its owner by keeping him warm. Nevertheless, well done, doggie!
