Sometimes you just want a something incredibly yummy and filling, but don’t want to spend hours cooking. At times like those, there’s nothing we love more than some delicious dips! These can be paired with tortilla chips, pita bread, vegetables or anything else you have a craving for!
Hummus
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- 14 oz can of chickpeas
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- Juice from 1 whole lemon
- 2 tablespoons of tahinI
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- Paprika
HOW TO PREPARE:
- In a blender, mix together the chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice, tahini, olive oil and a pinch of paprika.
- Mix under completely smooth.
- Add some paprika, cilantro and olive oil for seasoning.
- Serve and enjoy!
Guacamole
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- 2 ripe avocados
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 red chili, without seeds and finely chopped
- 2 tablespoon finely chopped cilantro
- Salt and Pepper
HOW TO PREPARE:
- With a fork, mash together the flesh of the avocados with the lime juice
- Stir in the onion, tomatoes, red chili and cilantro.
- Add some salt and pepper.
- Dip away!
Salsa
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- 6 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 1 green chili, without seeds and finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
- Salt and pepper
HOW TO PREPARE:
- Mix together the first seven ingredients.
- Add some salt and pepper for seasoning.
- Enjoy!
