Easy Holiday Recipes: Edible Horns

With the new year just around the corner we have just the celebratory treat with which you can impress your friends and family. These fun horns are not only more delicious and prettier than real horns, they also won’t give you a noisy headache!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Ice cream cones (sugar cones are best)
  • White Chocolate chips
  • Sanding sugars, sprinkles or anything else you want to decorate your horns
  • Vanilla Tootsie Rolls or white taffy
  • Tall glass (should be wider than the cones)

HOW TO PREPARE:

  • Melt the chocolate chips and pour the melted chocolate into the tall glass
  • Dip a cone into the chocolate, leaving onto about an inch uncovered
  • Sprinkle sanding sugars, sprinkles or other decorations into the chocolate and then set on baking sheet to cool
  • Put the tray of decorated cones into the fridge so the chocolate will harden
  • Once cooled, stick the Tootsie Rolls or white taffy at the top if the cone to make a mouthpiece
  • Alternately, you can stick streamers or ribbons through the ends to make adorable party hats!
  • Enjoy!
