BY: STEPHENIE MEYER
BREAKING DAWN, the highly anticipated fourth and final installment in Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling series, is finally here! On Saturday, August 2nd, fans will be able to read the last chapter of the complicated love story of Bella Swan (an 18-year-old mortal) and Edward Cullen (a 107-year-old vampire stuck in a 17-year-old’s body). So what can we expect from the final novel? In a recent interview, Meyer said that this would be the longest book in the saga, and that this was the last time she would be writing from Bella’s perspective. She also said that when writing this book, she “loosely worked with A Midsummer Night’s Dream as inspiration for the plot.” She also let slip that the book “closes up the story as it was begun in Twilight.” (LITTLE BROWN AND COMPANY)
