A group of book lovers in Belgium have set the world record for the longest book dominoes tumble!

The group stayed up the entire night setting up the 4,845 books into a 600 metre long chain before knocking them all down. In order for the world record to be set, the books — every last one of them — had to fall in the correct order and they did!

Previously, a South African group held the world record for a chain with 2,850 books in it. After breaking their record, the Belgian group decided to break their own record straight away by setting up a new chain of 5,000 books. Unfortunately, the second chain didn’t work out.

That’s okay, though, because we suspect the Belgians will hold this record for a while to come!
