One Direction’s Zayn Malik decided to give back by taking part in a unique new charity project.
Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal is a charity that raises funds for the Bristol Children’s Hospital. The project encourages different celebrities to design their own Gromit statue which will be displayed around Bristol before being auctioned off.
Zayn’s statue is named “Green Gromit” and he’s managed to contribute his statue to the charity despite being on a hectic world tour and about to kick off the another tour in the U.S.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be able to lend my support to Gromit Unleashed to raise funds for Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal,” he stated. “Being asked to design and paint a Gromit was an absolute honour and despite being busy on tour, it’s given me something to look forward to on my down time in between shows. My house is going to feel a whole lot emptier and a lot less green without it!”
