BEYONCÉ
LAST SEEN: Releasing the I AM… WORLD TOUR on DVD. Scientists also say (at least, we think) that 9/10 North Americans have “Single Ladies” still stuck in their head.
COMING UP: An album that’s yet to be named, set for a 2011 release.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Beyoncé trying to “create a whole new genre,” drawing inspiration from artists like Lauryn Hill, Stevie Wonder and the late Michael Jackson.

BLINK 182
LAST SEEN: Painfully humming through hits like “Always” and “I Miss You” before breaking up. The boys of Blink-182 tried their side projects, like Angels and Airwaves and Plus 44, then came to their senses and got the band back together.
COMING UP: New tour, album and documentary entitled THE BLINKUMENTARY.
WHAT TO EXPECT: A sound that’s more like their side projects and less like classic Blink-182.

LIGHTS
LAST SEEN: Releasing her latest album ‘Lights.Acoustic’ and touring with Hedley over the past summer.
COMING UP: A new album following the release of her new single, “My Boots.”
WHAT TO EXPECT: Her classic key-tar and synth-pop sound, with more of a dance beat.

LADY GAGA
LAST SEEN: Taking over the world, one meat dress at a time.
COMING UP: New album ‘Born This Way,’ including new hits “Born this Way” and “You and I.”
WHAT TO EXPECT: “Endless melodies, hooks + poetry sledge-hammering my skull,” according to Gaga’s Twitter page—whatever that means.

GREYSON CHANCE
LAST SEEN: Receiving a huge endorsement and record deal from Ellen DeGeneres after becoming famous on YouTube.
COMING UP: His untitled album, featuring renditions of Gaga’s “Paparazzi” and Augustana’s “Fire,” as well as his own songs like “Waiting Outside the Lines.”
WHAT TO EXPECT: Greyson’s sultry piano-pop to free him finally of Bieber comparisons.

NO DOUBT
LAST SEEN: Releasing their greatest hits album ‘Icon’ after front girl Gwen Stefani cooled her solo stint to become a mommy of two.
COMING UP: An upcoming album, tour and new clothes from Gwen Stefani’s clothing line, L.A.M.B.
WHAT TO EXPECT: The usual blend of ska-reggae-rock, with some more poetic sounding lyrics.

JOJO
LAST SEEN: Starring in films like AQUAMARINE (2006) and TRUE CONFESSIONS OF A HOLLYWOOD STARLET (2008) after topping the charts with albums ‘Jojo’ and ‘The High Road.’
COMING UP: A new album entitled ‘All I Want is Everything.’
WHAT TO EXPECT: An upbeat tone that’s a switch from her usual slow, R&B sound—thank goodness! Love/breakup/“I don’t need you” lyrics can sometimes be a bore.
