Tyler Medeiros didn’t burst onto the scene overnight. Yet his profile has shot upward in recent months, fueled by a family lineage in the Canadian music scene; he is the cousin of Danny Fernandes and Shawn Desman, carrying a homegrown talent in his blood.

New announcements confirm that Medeiros has joined Flo Ridas International Music Group, and he is set to share the stage with Flo Rida and Pitbull during the Canadian dates of their forthcoming tour.

In a recent conversation, he opened up about the tour, the plan for his upcoming album, and the thrill of performing his own stunts, among other topics.

When asked about joining Flo Ridas label, he answered with genuine excitement, recalling how he grew up listening to Flo Ridas music and watching his videos, and saying this opportunity surpassed any dream.

On working with RyanDan for a new album, he described their process as collaborative and familial, with the duo acting like mentors while they create.

He noted that Ryan and Dan feel like older brothers in the studio, mixing humor with a strong work ethic, and that the relaxed atmosphere never undermines their productivity.

Asked about his creative input, he emphasized a hands on approach: many writers contribute, but he insists on ensuring that the music carries his personal stamp, even if only a sliver.

While numerous writers contribute, his aim is to leave a clear personal imprint on the tracks, aiming for a sound that is unmistakably his.

His answer centers on a distinct performance language formed by fearless dance moves and a melodic voice, a combination designed to convey his own identity in every show.

When it comes to dancing, flips define his style. He taught himself front and back flips, starting after a vivid moment at a park where he stood on a set of bleachers three levels high and completed a back flip to the ground.

Has he ever suffered injuries? He reports no injuries, no broken bones, and no hospital visits.

His dancing journey began when he was ten, a long road of practice and performance.

His camaraderie with Ryan and Dan extends to playful references to their earlier group, b4-4, with him teasing about it often.

Their response is entertaining; they spin tall stories with a mischievous air, making every exchange feel like part of a twin like game.

While they feel like family, real mentors include Danny Fernandes and Shawn Desman, who share a CP Records background and have helped shape his music, stage presence and overall confidence.

Danny Fernandes has been especially influential, sharing the label path and offering practical guidance across music, performance, and public persona.

Although no immediate collaborations are planned, there is interest in recording another tune with Danny.

There is talk of possible new collaborations with Flo and a few others, though the team isn’t currently in the studio.

His fan base continues to grow rapidly, with stories of remarkable dedication. Fans travel long distances to catch performances and show their support.

On the tour with Pitbull and Flo Rida, the schedule includes Canada; he notes he will perform as part of Flo Ridas set after extensive rehearsals.

In the show, he confirms a solo role within Flo Ridas set, with daily four hour rehearsals and plans for dynamic stunts that push the performance to new levels.

Asked about safety and gear, he says he prefers performing without rigs or wires, aiming to execute his stunts live.
