Get your dancing shoes; it’s time to boogie like you were born in the ‘80s. Growing up in the era of New Wave and post-punk has greatly influenced this trio of Aussies, now releasing their sophomore album of retro-tinged electro with unexpected hints of rock and country. Infectious beats are intended for bumpin’ parties, but true to New Wave form, there is an underlying somber note throughout the album. A few atmospheric interludes can easily be skipped, but you’ll definitely have the rest on repeat. (LT UNIVERSAL)
