Forbes has just released its annual Most Powerful Celebrities list and it’s a strange, yet predictable, concoction of names in the top 10.
Number one goes to actor and singer extraordinaire Jennifer Lopez, mainly because of her recent judging duties on AMERICAN IDOL, which is funny, because we thought AMERICAN IDOL was getting a bit tired (maybe that’s why she’s leaving the show.) She also topped the list because of the $52 million she made last year.
Coming in at second is – surprise, surprise – Oprah. We all know why her name will be gracing this list for years to come.
But number three was a bit more surprising (or was it?): Justin Bieber! The Canadian-born superstar landed the third spot because of his record-breaking YouTube hits, the $55 million he made last year and because of his celebrity entourage, including GF Selena Gomez. He was also chosen to grace the cover.
The whole 100 list features names like Adam Sandler, Johnny Depp, Sandra Bullock, J.K. Rowling, Skrillex, Toby Keith, Ellen Degeneres, and many more, but here are the top ten:
