Everyone agrees that this was One Direction’s year. With a hit album, numerous hit singles, a sold out tour and a legion of devoted fans around the world, the boys show no signs of slowing down.
As if to confirm their immense success, MTV has named One Direction as their Artist of the Year, say that the band was “the clear choice for the top spot.”
Billboard also recently honoured One Direction by naming them the best new artist of the year and Barbara Walters included the fivesome in her list of the most fascinating people of the year.
Looks like the boys are due to have a very happy New Year!
