Those of us unable to make it to California for the Coachella Music Festival every year can luckily attend the Osheaga Music and Arts Festival in Montreal! This year is shaping to be a particularly good year with British rockers Mumford and Sons headlining the festival with timeless, classic rockers the Cure.
Taking place in Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau, the festival promises to bring together all music lovers regardless of their preferred genre. Combining punk acts with folk rock and electronic groovers, the festival’s lineup this year boasts the likes of Tegan and Sara, New Order, Ellie Goulding, Big Boi, Gaslight Anthem and the Lumineers among others.
The festival will run from August 2 to 4 and tickets run from $235 to $395 for the entire festival. Single day tickets will also be available and over-18 visitors will have the opportunity to reserve places to stay at the McGill University student residences.
