R5 has definitely come a long way since their humble roots in Littleton, Colorado. Composed of siblings Ross, Rydel, Rocky and Riker and their family friend Ellington Ratliff, the band moved to Los Angeles in 2007 to pursue their music career. Since then, they’ve headlined club shows all across America, performed at Family Channel’s Big Ticket Summer Concert in Toronto and released their EP ‘Loud’ in February.
Now the band has announced that their debut album, aptly entitled ‘Louder’ will drop on September 24! R5’s aim with the EP was to make listeners feel really happy, so we can only expect that ‘Louder’ will make people ecstatic!
One of the singles off the album,”Pass Me By,” was first played on Radio Disney on August 16. The song has more of a mellow and mature vibe than some of R5’s other hits, but it’s undeniably catchy. Family.ca will also have a Canadian exclusive sneak preview of their forthcoming album “Louder” streaming from Sept. 20 – 22, the weekend before the album’s released. It will be interesting to see what’s in store for the “Pass Me By” music video, which will have it’s world premiere on August 29 on VEVO and premiere on Family Channel!
‘Louder’ will include all the songs from the EP along with seven more tracks that fans can look forward to blasting. And we know that R5’s fans are dedicated… Of their eight upcoming fall shows, half are already sold out!
