On Christmas Day, Justin Bieber announcedthat he was retiring from the music industry by tweeting, “My beloved beliebers I’m officially retiring.” Shortly after causing absolute mayhem on the Twitterverse, Bieber then tweeted, “The media talks a lot about me. They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I’m never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle.”Nonetheless, fans all over the world were left wondering: Is the Biebz really stopping his career short? In fact, we don’t have to worry because he isn’t retiring!
According to a Wall Street Journal blog, the general manager of Scooter Braun Projects, Allison Kaye, said Bieber tweeted this fake news as a joke to get back at the media for falsely reporting that he was retiring. “Regarding his recent tweeting about his ‘retirement’ Justin felt that this was the best way to respond to the latest in a long line of inaccurate or wildly exaggerated media reports about him. He chose to channel his frustration into playing along with this baseless rumor and even used ‘beloved’ to tip off his core fans that it wasn’t real.”
The chief officer operating officer, Scott Manson, also confirmed “100%” that Bieber isn’t leaving the music industry.
Of course, Justin has been keeping busy this holiday season. With the release of his new movie, BELIEVE, and his album, ‘Journals,’ it’s clear that this 19-year-old doesn’t plan on stopping his career any time soon!
