The wait was long, but Selena Gomez has finally released her new single “Come & Get It.”
During her visit to Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, Selena Gomez released her anticipated single, “Come & Get It.” The 20-year-old actress/singer also chatted about the song during her visit and talked about her album too! Selena had said that “Come & Get It” had a certain vibe to it, something that was tribal and sort-of middle-eastern. She also mentioned that Vanessa Hudgens was a huge fan of the song and Selena said it was “very Vanessa.” Selena also went on to say that Taylor Swift and Skrillex were huge inspirations for the song.
When Ryan had asked if the song was about a certain someone, Selena answered by saying that since this was her first release from her album, she wanted it to be about strength and confidence, rather than focusing on one person. Selena also released tidbits about her album, adding that it is finished, but her crew hasn’t set a specific release date yet.
After the interview, Selena expressed her excitement about the song by taking to her Twitter to share: “U guys crashed http://www.ryanseacrest.com amazing!! And you made #BuyComeAndGetItOniTunesTONIGHT trend #selenatorsarethebest trend that J”.
