After launching last week, Nintendo’s Wii U has become the most talked about console of the moment. If it’s still on your wish list or a little out of reach in terms of cost, we’ve got some great news! Nintendo’s Wii console is getting a new look and a new price. On December 7, the new Wii Mini home console will launch in Canada. The suggested retail price is $99.99, which is quite a bit less expensive than the Wii U. Here’s what you need to know about the system:
- In Nintendo’s own words, it’s “all about the games” and will focus only on Wii games. While you can’t use it to surf the net or play GameCube games, it can play more than 1,400 disc-based Wii games.
- The system comes with a red Wii Remote Plus, a red Nunchuk controller and works with most Wii accessories.
- The Wii Mini will launch exclusively in Canada for the holiday season.
