Charlie Bell from England just squirmed his way into the record books. Mr. Bell did so by transporting live maggots from one tank to another — using only his mouth! He says, “I’ve been practicing at home with rice for months, but until that day, I’d never had a mouth full of maggots.” In all, Charlie moved 37 and a half pounds of maggots using his mouth. While he’s glad to have the title, he explains: “If someone beats the maggot record, they’re welcome to it. It was disgusting.” It could have been worse.
