10 Royally Awesome Couples

In celebration of the upcoming Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton, we’ve devised up a list of our favourite small screen couples!

10. Dan + Blair (GOSSIP GIRL)
If it weren’t for their “are they, aren’t they?” factor, GOSSPI GIRL wouldn’t be nearly as exciting. On the most recent episode, these two finally kissed, but it’s tough to tell if they will become an official couple or not. Either way, the chemistry has always been enough to keep us intrigued.

9. The Doctor + Rose (DR. WHO)
Nothing says “happily ever after” like a time traveling telephone booth, Daleks, Cybermen, and a blonde chick.

8. Mr. + Mrs. Turner (FAIRLY ODD PARENTS)
We don’t love them because they’re romantic… in fact, there are no “couple-y” moments for the parents of Timmy Turner. But they’re awesome because they’re absolutely insane. For example:

7. Fry + Leela (FUTURAMA)
Leela’s been known to love Fry’s “boyish charm”, but not his “childishness”. We loved both, and eventually she did too. These two are the classic tale of a one-eyed mutant from the future falling in love with a lazy human from the early 80’s.

6. Joey Jeremiah + Caitlin (DEGRASSI/DEGRASSI JR. HIGH)
Their drama it wasn’t enough to hang out in one generation, they had to carry it over into the series revival. Joey and Caitlin are the definition of opposites attract, as told by Caitlin herself:

5. Stefan + Elena (+ Damon) (VAMPIRE DIARIES)
While we’re always cheering for Stefan and Elena to have their happily ever after, they would have a seriously boring relationship if it weren’t for Damon. Cheers to you, Damon, for sticking with it.

4. Dave + Donna (BEVERLY HILLS 90210)
We’ll be honest: these two are more annoying than awesome. But Donna and David’s relationship will always be one of the key elements of the original BEVERLY HILLS 90210. From David’s “music making” skills and Donna’s terrifying eyes, these two hold a special place in our hearts, and in the early 90’s pop phenomena time capsule.

3. Will Schuester + Emma Pillsbury (GLEE)
While we were excited to see John Stamos come in and guest star as Emma’s husband, we were even more excited when he left. Why? Because it finally opens the door for Mr. Schu and Miss. Pillsbury to finally be together! Now if Finn and Rachel had a ghost of a chance…

2. Jim + Pam (THE OFFICE)
Possibly the longest, most agitating love story ever told on prime-time television, this quirky and loveable couple drew out their relationship for four whole seasons before they finally called themselves a couple. Jim and Pam have always been a perfect balance of adorable and hysterical.

1. Homer + Marge (THE SIMPSONS)
While Jim and Pam balance adorable and hysterical, these two have showcased hilarious, heartwarming, timeless, loveable, etc. on the TV screen for years (22 to be exact). Even though THE SIMPSONS as a TV show feels like it’s ran its course, the love between Marge and Homer is worthy of being in a museum forever.
