10. CAMERON PHILLIPS (TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES)
Sent back to the past by an older John Connor to protect his younger self, Cameron eagerly enters the fray to fight any bad guys in the way. While she still has much to learn about “being” human, there’s nothing better than having a terminator fight by your side.
9. XANDER (BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER)
Even after he lost his eye, Xander was always there to help Buffy whenever he was needed. He always felt inferior though, because he was the only one without powers, but by the end, he definitely earned his spot in the Scooby Gang.
8. BEAKER (THE MUPPET SHOW)
Seemingly invincible, Beaker is the perfect lab-Muppet for Dr. Bunsen Honeydew’s crazy experiments. Occasionally moonlighting as a singer, Beaker always returned to the lab eager to be set on fire among other things. Now if only we could understand what he was saying…
7. RON WEASLEY (HARRY POTTER) It’s safe to say that Harry would never have gotten as far as he did without the help of his best friend. Even though they went through some rough patches, Ron proved to be a true friend.
6. ARTHUR (THE TICK)
Tired of wasting his days away as an accountant, Arthur buys a moth costume and soon teams up with the dimwitted Tick. No matter what the situation, Arthur is always there to clean up after the Tick and explain how things work in the real world.
5. PINKY (PINKY AND THE BRAIN)
Simple and childlike, Pinky loves nothing better than to spend time with Brain, even if that means helping to concoct one harebrained scheme after another to take over the world.
4. CHLOE SULLIVAN (SMALLVILLE)
It’s tough being charged with keeping a big secret that can potentially put one in danger, but Chloe never once complained. Her super sleuthing skills have come through more than once for Clark, and she wouldn’t hesitate to put her own life on the line if it meant helping him defeat the bad guys.
3. JUGHEAD JONES (THE ARCHIE COMICS)
While on the surface it seems like all Jughead cares about is food, he always comes through for Archie in a pinch. Whether it’s dealing with girl trouble or with nasty Reggie, Jughead always comes up with a plan.
2. PATRICK STAR (SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS)
Even though Patrick seems to be lacking any form of intelligence, he’s still always the first person SpongeBob turns to for advice. It’s rare to find a good friend who can debate the finer points of jelly fishing.
1. MINI-ME (AUSTIN POWERS)
Originally added for comic effect, Mini-Me ended up playing an important role in the AUSTIN POWERS movies. Even though Dr. Evil didn’t treat him so well, Mini-Me braved heating ducts, steel posts and even outer space to help defeat Austin.
