The nominees for the 2013 MuchMusic Video Awards have been announced!
We’re all excited for this year’s MuchMusic Video Awards, but now with the nominees being released, we know who we’re going to be rooting for! We were excited to see all of the Canadians that have been nominated this year like Marianas Trench, who are in the lead with six nominations, and Drake, who follows up with five nominations. Carly Rae Jepsen, Hedley and Justin Bieber all have two nominations and Avril Lavigne and The Weeknd were nominated in one category.
Of course we’re happy to see many Canadian artists being represented at the award show but there are also other artists from around the world too, like rapper Classified, who has been nominated for four awards this year and crowd favourite, Demi Lovato, who has received two nominations this year. There are also a few newbies added to the list of nominees this year, like PSY, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and Phillip Phillips.
