The Russo family is coming back and we could not be more excited! Yes, that’s right, a WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE reunion movie is in the works and there are a few hints swirling about what’s in store!
The movie will supposedly take place in Italy, where Alex accidentally casts a spell that creates an evil version of herself who is planning on taking over the whole world! Evil Alex will later team up with a boy named Dominic (Beau Mirchoff) while the original Alex, along with her friends and family, try to stop them! It is also said that the movie will be released sometime in 2013!
Selena Gomez, who plays the lead role of Alex Russo in the television show and films, has been releasing a few backstage photos of her and her fellow cast members on her Facebook page.
Above, we can see Selena and her co-star Gregg Sulkin goofing around on set. The picture came with the caption “Shooting at 2 am and this is where me and Gregg end up…”
Selena posted a few more shots of her with Gregg and the movie’s ‘Evil Alex’. We hope Selena will keep releasing fun photos from set!
