If you’re one of the many Twihards who were sad to see the TWILIGHT SAGA come to its inevitable conclusion, we have some happy news!
It’s just been announced that the DVD release of BREAKING DAWN: PART 1 will include eight minutes of extended footage not seen in theatres!
The scenes are chosen by the film’s director, Bill Condon, who stated that the process of adapting a novel to the big screen means that a lot of things have to be cut from the book during adaption, but more scenes get cut before the film finally hits theatres. Condon wanted to give fans a chance to see what didn’t make the final cut.
The eight minutes of extra footage will include a revised opening sequence featuring the Volutri, an extended version of the fight scene between Edward, Jacob and the other werewolves, a new scene with Jacob as caregiver and more!
Check out the trailer below and let us know if you’re going to pick up BREAKING DAWN: PART 1 EXTENDED EDITION when it hits shelves on March 2!
