The wait is over, as Disney’s newest fairy adventure will be fluttering into stores on October 23. SECRET OF THE WINGSis the fourth direct-to-DVD film in Disney’s Fairies franchise.
In this film, Tinker Bell embarks on a journey and explores the winter woods. She meets a new frosty fairy named Periwinkle. Together, along with Tinker Bell’s other friends Rosetta, Iridessa, Silvermist and Fawn, they enter the winter woods to uncover the secret of fairy wings.
Once again, Disney has succeeded in gathering a star-studded cast to voice the characters. Mae Whitman from the new TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES voices Tinker Bell and Lucy Hale from PRETTY LITTLE LIARS voices Periwinkle. Also, don’t forget to listen for Jesse McCartney, Lucy Liu, Raven Symone and Debby Ryan.
The soundtrack was released on October 16. It featured artists such as Zendaya from SHAKE IT UP, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Bridgit Mendler, and Laura Marano from AUSTIN & ALLY. The soundtrack also includes the McClain Sisters’ hit single, “The Great Divide.”
