A new film based on the books about a lovably teddy bear found by the Brown family is about to hit the big screen and none other than Oscar-winner, Colin Firth, will be the voice of the famous bear!
The Paddington Bear books by Michael Bond have been around since 1958 and have spawned a number of adventures featuring the famous bear. Easily recognized by his blue raincoat and red hat, Paddington Bear was found at a railway station with a note reading “Please look after this bear.” An animated children’s TV show was also made, but this will be the first feature length and live action adaptation.
Also starring alongside Colin Firth is Nicole Kidman and HARRY POTTER’s Julie Walters and Jim Broadbent. The film is due to be released in the winter of 2014.
