Nobody can ever outgrow Disney. It’s virtually impossible. Lots of people still have the Disney VHS tapes from way back when, but those things can occasionally break and replacing them is hard. With movie viewing devices changing faster than a quick-change artist on a variety show, Disney has released some of their films on Blu-Ray combo packs to allow modern-day viewers to keep watching the films they love.
POCAHONTAS and POCAHONTAS 2: JOURNEY TO A NEW WORLD
This is the first time that both movies are being released together. Bonus features include a video about “Hiawatha,” which is a film that Walt Disney and his team had worked on but never completed. The movie was what inspired the making of POCAHONTAS.
THE ARISTOCATS
You can’t go wrong with a story about cats and royalty! This new release of Disney’s 20th animated movie is digitally restored and comes with bonus features like deleted songs, footage of the original storyboards and an excerpt from a cat documentary!
THE RESCUERS and THE RESCUERS DOWN UNDER
THE RESCUERS animated movie turns 35 this year and, to celebrate, Disney is releasing both RESCUERS movies. Bernard and Bianca, two of the bravest mice in the history of ever, go on adventures in the Devil’s Bayou and in the Australian Outback. Some great songs are inevitably thrown in there, too!
THE TIGGER MOVIE
There’s just something exceptional about Tigger that makes him deserving of his very own movie. This special edition of the film includes fun games that pop up when the movie is paused and a documentary that teaches viewers about Tigger’s history. It also comes with cute posters and stickers.
All four new releases will be available on August 21st, so don’t miss out!
