The 50th anniversary episode of DOCTOR WHO will air on Saturday, November 23. It’s a date that fans around the world have been waiting for, but there is one more thing to look forward to!
For the first time ever, an episode of DOCTOR WHO will air at the exact same time all around the world! The show has been on television in one way or another for 50 years and the creators have been doing all sorts of things to make the anniversary episode special.
Normally the show airs Saturday nights in the U.K. and then fans on the other side of the world have to wait a day until it officially becomes Saturday night in their own country. Having the show go on the air at the exact same moment across the world protects fans from having the story spoiled on the Internet before they even get a chance to see it.
The show will air at 7:00 p.m. in the U.K. and at the same time it will air at 2:00 p.m.on the east coast and 11:00 a.m. on the west coast. This means fans around the world will be doing the exact same thing at the exact same moment: laughing, crying and watching the special episode that will have both the 10th and 11th Doctors!
