Emma Watson decided on a unique way to get in character for her latest movie, THE BLING RING: she created aTumblr page for her character!
InTHE BLING RING, Emma plays Nicki Moore, a young superficial California teen who is obsessed with all things related to celebrity and pop culture. To get into the mindset Nicki would have, Emma started a Tumblr page as Nicki Moore and proceeded to write posts and share thoughts and photos about reality TV stars, celebrities and whatever she believes would interest Nicki.
Emma’s character is based onAlexis Neiers who, along with a group of her friends, were arrested for robbing the houses of some of Hollywood’s best known celebritiesincluding Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. Neiers has since grown up and cleaned herself up, but she’s voiced her dislike for the hit movie directed by Sofia Coppola.
