There has been talk of a sequel to Disney/Pixar’s beloved underwater tale FINDING NEMO and finally we have some concrete details about this highly anticipated follow up!
The sequel will be called FINDING DORY and will take place about a year after Marlin and Nemo had their adventures in the last movie and will take place partially along the California coast. As revealed by the title, the sequel will focus on the loveable blue tang fish, Dory, as she is reunited with her loved ones and learn the meaning of family.
Ellen DeGeneres, who voiced Dory in FINDING NEMO, will return to lend her voice talents again for the sequel and stated, “I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time.” She went on to describe the film saying, “It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is—it’s got a lot more Dory.”
