There’s still quite a bit of mystery surrounding the upcoming Superman movie, MAN OF STEEL. So far, we know that the story is going to be a re-boot of the Superman franchise and follow Clark Kent in his early days. Henry Cavill from STARDUST will play Clark/Superman, a Kryptonian sent to Earth and adopted by Kansas farmers only to become one of the world’s greatest superheroes. With Christopher Nolan (the director of THE DARK KNIGHT trilogy) producing the movie, we can expect interesting things! However, we’ll have to wait until June 14, 2013 to see what’s fully in store.
Warner Bros. has released a teaser poster for the movie on the Dark Knight Rises Facebook page that reveals a bit more about the plot. In it we see Superman in handcuffs, which suggests a darker re-imagining of theDC Comics’ character. Christopher Nolan himself says the movie will be “thrilling with a fresh take on the popular story.”
Alongside Henry Cavill, we’ll see Amy Adams play Lois Lane with Kevin Costner and Diane Lane cast as Clark Kent’s parents.
