Are you one of the many who jut can’t get enough of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES? Well, let the countdown to the spin-off series, THE ORIGINALS, begin! The new television show follows Niklaus Mikaelson of the Original Family of vampires, as he comes back to the supernatural crucible also known as the French Quarter of New Orleans. This is a town he helped build a while ago, and is reunited with his diabolical former apprentice, Marcel. The show will welcome two new characters that are witches and a human named Camille. Camille (played by Leah Pipes) is a student taking psychology who is amazed by the study of human behaviour.
The first episode of this new show will star Joseph Morgan who plays Klaus Mikaelson on THE VAMPIRE DIAIRES. Other films he has been in include ALEXANDER and IMMORTALS. Phoebe Tonkin who was introduced in season four of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES will play the werewolf, Hayley. Daniel Gillies of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES will also join the cast of THE ORIGINALS as Klaus’s older brother Elijah. Daniel has also starred in SPIDER-MAN 2 and BROKEN KINGDOM, which he also helped direct.
