We mentioned a few weeks ago that Disney was going ahead andcasting roles for a BOY MEETS WORLD sequel called GIRL MEETS WORLD.
It has now been confirmed that both Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, who played Cory Matthew and Topanga Lawrence respectively, will reprise their BOY MEETS WORLD characters in the sequel!
The premise of the GIRL MEETS WORLD is similar to its predecessor in that it will be about teenagers coming of age and experiencing new challenges and changes. The link is that the girl of GIRL MEETS WORLD will be Riley Matthews, daughter of Cory and Topanga
It is still unknown weather any more of the original BOY MEETS WORLD cast will be reprising their roles for the sequel. We sure would love it if Mr Feeny shows up and offers Riley the same sort of advice and lessons he supplied to Cory in the original series!
