While we’re dreading the fall coming, there is one good thing about it: new shows! Premiering this fall on YTV is the new show LIFE WITH BOYS, a show that’s all about a teenage girl living in a testosterone-filled environment. Here’s a breakdown of the characters to educate you a little more on LIFE WITH BOYS!
TESS FOSTER (Torri Webster)
Tess Foster is your typical teenage girl: she loves clothes, boys, and of course, is a member of the wrestling team. Wait… wrestling?! Well, she’s a confident young lady AND the daughter of the wrestling coach, so it makes sense, right? Plus, she’s the only girl in her family of five—fighting for the bathroom is a daily ritual! Luckily, her best friend Allie is always there to help her out with all of life’s big decisions.
ALLIE BROOKS (Madison Pettis)
Allie Brooks is Tess’ best friend, a bright and popular cheerleader who knows what she’s talking about when it comes to fashion. Although having Tess as her best friend can sometimes be hard—“How DOES she live in that house full of boys and why does it always smell like that?!”—Allie would never let her girl down! She’s a regular fixture at the Foster household.
SAM FOSTER (Michael Murphy)
Sam Foster is Tess’ studious and somewhat nerdy twin brother. Definitely not a “cool” kid, Sam is less athletic and successful with the girls than his older brother Gabe, but he’s persistent! Sam dreams of one day marrying Allie and his efforts to woo her are constant. He’s regularly rejected, but never defeated.
GABE FOSTER (Nathan McLeod)
At 16, Gabe Foster is a heartthrob. The oldest of the Foster siblings, he is always happy to offer advice based on his life experience. A self-professed babe magnet, Gabe plays the field, which has landed him in hot water (well, cold drinks) a time or two.
SPENCER FOSTER (Jake Goodman)
Eight-year-old Spencer Foster is cute, scary-smart and uses these tools to his advantage as the youngest of the Foster clan. Oldest brother Gabe is his idol—much to Tess’ dismay!
JACK FOSTER (Sandy Jobin-Bevans)
Like all parents, Jack Foster struggles to do his best as he raises his kids. Admittedly, Jack has the hardest time with Tess. After all, what does he know about being a girl? A high school teacher and coach at the kids’ school, he’s often more involved in their private lives than they’d necessarily like…
