What do you get when you combine a charming superhero with an action-packed storyline? IRON MAN, of course! The first two instalments of the series have been incredibly successful with IRON MAN coming in as the second highest grossing movie of 2008, so it should come as no surprise that IRON MAN 3 is on the way.
Even though the film is scheduled for release on May 3rd, 2013, Marvel has already released a picture from the movie that features Tony Stark fighting some bad guys. To those of us who like the movies but don’t follow the comic books, the picture might not look like anything out of the ordinary, but for those in the know, it reveals a lot about the movie’s possible plot.
Many believe that the reason why Tony only has some of his Iron Man armour on is that the movie’s plot will be centered around the drug created by scientists that gives humans superpowers so Tony Stark can morph into his alter ego at will. The comic books talk about this, but we’ve yet to see it in one of the films.
Has the photo really revealed so much about the movie, or is this just fan speculation blown way out of proportion? Looks like we’re going to have to wait for the trailer to find out!
