Were you dying to get tickets to the Jonas Brothers’ summer tour last year? Did you try to get tickets to one of their many shows only to find out that most tickets were snagged in minutes? You must have been left ticket-less and sad.
Well, get hyped up! In the JONAS BROTHERS: THE 3D CONCERT EXPERIENCE, the Jonas Brothers have taken their Burnin’ Up tour to the big screen in Disney Digital 3D!
Watch, sing and scream along as brothers Joe, Nick, and Kevin burn up the stage with the songs we all know and love including:
• That’s Just The Way We Roll
• Hold On
• BB Good
• Video Girl
• Goodnight & Goodbye
• This Is Me (featuring Demi Lovato)
• Hello Beautiful
• Pushin’ Me Away
• Should’ve Said No (featuring Taylor Swift)
• S. O. S
• Tonight
• Live To Party
• Love Is on Its Way (a new and never before heard song)
• Burnin’ Up
As well, the movie includes behind the scenes glimpses of the boys as they eat breakfast, prepare and rehearse for their tour, and attend their Times Square album launch party. Many of these scenes come off as fake and overly rehearsed but whatever – at least there are other backstage scenes to keep you smiling.
The movie also includes two special guest duets and a performance from BIG ROB! The duets performed with Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift are great and they both did a fabulous job, but I have to say that Taylor definitely stole the show! Of course, the tour wouldn’t be complete without BIG ROB (the Jonas Brothers’ bodyguard) and he doesn’t disappoint during his ‘Burnin’ Up’ performance with the boys.
Also, just to comment: you gotta hope that the fans who attended the concert weren’t wearing good clothes. Why, you ask? Well, in the middle of the concert, Joe and Nick decided to play a game with the audience. They took a big spray gun and wet their well-dressed fans with a ‘yucky’ white substance. What is that about?
This movie almost gives the ultimate concert experience. The view is absolutely fantastic and is probably better than front row, but the movie doesn’t quite capture the full concert experience. You are, after all, sitting in a movie theatre. But who cares! You and everyone else in that theatre are in for an ultimate Jonas treat.
Get ready because the Jonas Brothers are about to ‘burn up’ the box offices (and most girls’ hearts)! The movie opens in theatres today, February 27, 2009.
