If you’ve completely dominated the music industry, it just seems natural to take a stab at acting. Justin Bieber has already taken on a minor role in CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION in the past, but it seems now he’s preparing for his first ever feature film (that’s not a documentary.)
The movie hasn’t officially been green lit to go, but his co-star Mark Wahlberg has confirmed that it’s in the works. “We’re waiting for the script,” Wahlberg said to MTV News. “Every time I see [Bieber] or Scooter [Braun], I have to explain to them that it’s a bit of a process having the script written.” So yes, it may take a while, but Wahlberg also stated that it will be “well worth the wait.”
Not much is known about the movie yet, but Wahlberg has leaked that it will be a basketball movie where Wahlberg plays a weathered basketball player who takes in and trains a younger player (Bieber.)
“I’m pretty intuitive,” Walberg further explained on his decision to cast Bieber as the protégé, “I see the guy and spent time with him and you see what he does and how he does it, and then you actually have a conversation with him and it’s there.”
Bieber acting for a whole movie? This we’re excited to see…
