2012 MuchMusic Video Awards recap: Katy Perry will be performing, LMFAO will be co-hosting, and the nominee’s have been announced. But, today we’re finally learning the only thing we care about: the music line-up!
Justin Bieber, Marianas Trench, Nelly Furtado, and Carly Rae Jepsen have just been announced as performers for this years show.
“I’m so excited to be coming back home for this year’s MMVAs,” Justin Bieber told MuchMusic in a press release. “It’s an honour to be nominated and performing. I can’t wait!”
“The last couple months have been madness,” Carly Rae Jepsen commented as well. “I can’t wait to come home and play a show where this all began at this year’s MMVAs.”
Marianas Trench expressed their excitement as well, saying “We are extremely stoked to be rocking the MMVAs this year…Flaming bras are out of style this season but you can bet we’ll have a few tricks up our sleeves.”
It all goes down Sunday, June 17th at 9pm ET with the MMVA Red Carpet Special beginning at 8pm ET!
