Marvel Studios, the producers of such hit films as THE AVENGERS and the IRON MAN series, have commenced filming for their newest movie, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY!
Directed by James Gunn, the filming has begun at the Shepperton Studios in the U.K. The cast is all stars, including Zoe Saldana (AVATAR) as Gamora and Karen Gillan (DR WHO) as Nebula! The movie is the tenth installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is the setting of all superhero films produced by the company.
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is about an American pilot and some ex-cons who go on a run in space with a valuable object! As with all Marvel movies, this one is based on the fictional superhero team of the same name in comics.
