The producers of GLEE are certainly enjoying teasing us with little bits and piece of information about the show’s fourth season. Recently, two new actors have been revealed.
The first is Jacob Artist (cool last name!) who will play Jake, bad-boy Puck’s younger brother. As a freshman, Jake is clearly just as delinquent-prone as his big brother and will be stirring up some trouble for the New Directions right from the get-go.
Dean Geyer (a former contestant on AUSTRALIAN IDOL) will also be joining the cast as Brody Weston, a student at NYADA, where Rachel will be studying. This hotshot upperclassman is rumoured to have eyes for Miss Barry, which will undoubtedly cause some awkwardness between her and Finn, who will be back in Ohio.
We also have some more insight on the format of the fourth season. Each episode will be split between New York and Lima, with no episode ever taking place in just one city. The screenwriters had briefly considered having some episodes exclusively feature only one storyline, but then figured that not all viewers are invested in all the characters. This way, no matter who your favourite returning regular is, they’re bound to be in at least a part of each episode!
We can’t wait for the premiere of GLEE’s fourth season on September 13th!
