The second trailer for Peter Jackson’s highly anticipated HOBBIT trilogy is here and it promises even more action and adventure than the first!
THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG follows the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf and the Dwarves on their journey to the Lonely Mountain. Along the way they meet an assortment of characters — some friendly, other dangerous — and team up with a couple of elves before facing off against the dreaded dragon, Smaug.
While the previously trailer allowed us a vision of Smaug’s head, this new trailer lets us hear the villainous reptile as voiced by STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS’s Benedict Cumberbatch. The second installment of the trilogy also has the return of Orlando Bloom as Legolas.
THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG hits theatres on December 13, but in the mean time, check out the trailer below!
