THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN PART 2 was definitely worth the wait. We tell you what we thought of the movie, but beware, you may find a few the spoilers below!
The movie begins with Bella waking up from her transition from human to vampire with Edward there to greet her. She starts to embrace her improved sense of smell, sight and hearing. After going on a hunting trip, Bella returns back to the Cullen house to greet her new half-human half-vampire child, Renesmee. Although, trouble starts to turn up after another vampire, Irina, catches a glimpse of Renesmee. She is quick to tell the Volturi and convinces them that Renesmee is a threat. After hearing about this, the Volturi plan an attack against the Cullen cult. The Cullens prepare for the fight and an amazing twist happens along the way!
Out of all five movies in THE TWILIGHT SAGA, this was definitely the best one. Unlike the other movies, there weren’t many ‘feel good’ moments in the beginning of the film. The plot and intensity of the story started right away. Something I really loved about this movie is that instead of rolling the credits at the end of the film, a montage was played that featured every character in the saga, all the way back to the first installment!
The one thing I would have changed in the movie is the use of animation, which was both present and obvious throughout the whole movie. Although this doesn’t have anything to do with the story line, I found that it was a distraction that took away from the feel of the movie.
As for this being the last movie? I really doubt it. With all the spin offs of THE TWILIGHT SAGA books, like THE SHORT SECOND LIFE OF BREE TANNER, which focused on a character that appeared in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, there is bound to be another movie coming out.
