Are you a sucker for solving spine-tingling mysteries? Then why not kick off October with season two of the award-winning web series, RUBY SKYE P.I.? Returning with nine new spooky episodes on October 10, you can jump back into solving mysteries alongside intrepid teen detective Ruby Skye! This is not just any old scary series, it has a bit of a twist: you can join the action by studying the clues between episodes and solving some puzzles yourself! Season two starts on an eerie foot with the first episode, The Haunted Library. Ruby is on the trail of the person or thing making creepy noises late at night in the old O’Deary Library. It gets even crazier when the beloved library owner, Ava O’Deary, dies and Ava’s nearest (and slightly evil) relative, Lillian O’Shyte, takes over the library. With season two set to start with some serious drama, we can just tell the next episodes of RUBY SKYE P.I. are going to be juicy. After all, this season was directed by Kelly Harms of the hit TV show, MY BABYSITTER’S A VAMPIRE! If the cast and crew behind the web series are any indication, this is going to be a thrilling ride filled with ghostly action and plenty of girl drama. Though the first episode officially airs next Wednesday, the series will have a formal premiere tonight at The Royal Cinema in Toronto. Best of all, the gala premiere is also a fundraiser for Plan Canada’s “Because I Am A Girl” campaign. The Girls Club, filmmakers and the cast, including Madison Cheeatow who plays Ruby Skye, will be there. Attendees of the gala will also get to see the first three episodes on the big screen.
