This past Thursday, on Superman’s 75th birthday, Warner Brothers finally won the rights to adapt Superboy into a feature film!
While Superboy was originally the story of young Clark Kent/Superman, DC revamped the character as a Kryptonian clone. This latter Superboy is likely the one that will be adapted to the big screen since the story of Clark Kent/Superman’s youth is shown in great detail in SMALLVILLE.
Superboy lives “somewhere in the heart of Kansas” and is of high-school age. He is the result of an experiment by N.O.W.H.E.R.E which was thought to have failed and killed the clone. However, while post-mortem tests were about to be performed, Superboy surprised everyone by bolting awake and killing everyone in the lab, except for the doctor who took care of him, Caitlin Fairchild.
