A new teaser for TEEN BEACH MUSICAL, an upcoming Disney Channel original movie, has surfaced! Stars of the movie include Ross Lynch (from AUSTIN & ALLY) and Maia Mitchell.

It’s the end of the summer and McKenzie (Maia Mitchell) is saying goodbye to the beach and leaving for boarding school in order to fulfill her family’s dream of graduating from an elite school. Things don’t go according to plan when she and her boyfriend Brady (Ross Lynch) are transported into a classic beach musical movie set in the 1960 with a bikers vs. surfers rivalry and a classic star crossed lovers romance. McKenzie is eager to get back so she can finish her schooling and keep her promise to her family, while Brady is excited about a never-ending summer. Together, they try to come up with a plan that will take them back to normal, but have a hard time blending in with the other teenagers around them when everyone breaks out into song and dance spontaneously.

Things get worse when McKenzie and Brady interfere with the characters in the movie and accidentally insert themselves into the plot. This leaves them wondering about the fate of their lives, which may have been changed forever.

Teen Beach Musical also stars Garrett Clayton and Grace Phipps and was directed by Jeffrey Hornaday, who most recently directed GEEK CHARMING, another Disney Channel original movie.

There is no set air date for TEEN BEACH MUSICAL yet, though it is set to premiere sometime this summer.
