Over the past year, North America’s love of all things British has grown to epic proportions. Just look at the 2012 Summer Olympics and One Direction! Our obsession with U.K. coolness is showing no signs of stopping. Now, there’s a new movie that combines sports, teamwork and Great Britain. FAST GIRLS follows two track team rivals,Shania Andrews (Lenora Crichlow) and Lisa Temple (Lily James) as they compete at a local level and work their way into the British 4×100 metres relay team and compete in the World Championships. The movie feels like BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM meets LOVE AND BASKETBALL and is sure to attract a whole new legion of fans when it’s released on DVD and iTunes in Canada on February 26!
