The Flintstones make a comeback!
The Flintstones just made a deal with WWE and Warner Bros. and are officially making a comeback! This upcoming film is set to be released in 2015 and will be uniting classic FLINTSTONE characters like Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble, but also incorporating WWE names like John Cena!
President of WWE Studios, Michael Luisi, expressed his excitement on this new project by saying, “WWE is a family-friendly entertainment, so partnering with Warner Bros. on a Flintstones/WWE project was a natural extension of our Scooby Doo deal. This new, animated feature allows us to showcase our brand with young fans and loyal FLINTSTONES enthusiasts alike.”
To fill you in, THE FLINTSTONES used to be an animated television show back in the 1960s, 34 years later, in 1994, the show got adapted to a live-action movie starring John Goodman and Elizabeth Perkins and then later turned in to a second live-action movie in 2000 starring Mark Addy and Kristen Johnston!
