Last night marked the 39th annual People’s Choice Awards, hosted by Kaley Cuoco, and THE HUNGER GAMES won big! At the end of the night, the cast walked out with five titles, making them this year’s People’s Choice Awards top winner!
The awards THE HUNGER GAMES received last night consisted of Favourite Movie, Favourite Movie Franchise and Favourite Action Movie. Jennifer Lawrence also walked out with Face Of Heroism and Favourite Movie Actress.
Another celebrity who won big was Katy Perry. Katy was the fans’ Favourite Female Artist and Pop Artist. Her song “Part Of Me,” which was released in June 2012, also won!
Ellen DeGeneres walked away with her 13th award for Favourite Daytime TV host and GLEE stars Chris Colfer and Lea Michele won back-to-back awards for Favourite Comedic TV Actor or Actress! And of course, one of the biggest highlights last night was seeing Sandra Bullock win the first ever Favourite Humanitarian award for her charitable efforts such as dedication to Warren Easton High School in the New Orleans after the damage done by Hurricane Katrina.
