This week on THE NEXT STEP, we saw the dancers help each other out to overcome some important challenges.
The episode starts off with Kate feeling overwhelmed. She asks Riley to help her pick up the sample costumes for regionals. It’s really important that Riley gets to the store in time before they close.
James continues to be a player with all the girls in the studio. Riley isn’t falling for it, but James decides to focus his flirtatious ways on her anyway. James decides to join her on the trip to pick up the sample costumes, but just ends up annoying her on the bus. James takes it too far when he does everything humanly possible to stall the journey and spend more time with Riley. He even makes them stop for Shawarma and rips her bus transfer!
The rest of the girls at the studio get ready for a photo shoot while acting out E-Girl rule number 13: “Always help another E-girl in need.” During the shoot, Stephanie feels uncomfortable in front of the camera and the photographer starts to get angry at her.
Meanwhile, James’s plan totally backfires on them when they arrive late and the store is closed. Now, the dancers don’t have costumes for regionals. Riley is furious, but James continues to acts cool. He bangs on the door, but the costume shop owners refuse to let them in. In order to get them to open up, James and Riley dance in front of the window (and James finally pulls off the flip he has been trying to nail all day!) It impresses the costume shop owners and they finally open the door.
Back at the photo shoot, Stephanie is put at ease when Kate tells her to do what makes her most comfortable: dance! She finally loosens up and gets some great shots.
On the bus ride home, Riley admits that after today, she sees James in a new light. Could love finally be blossoming between the two?
What do you think Mag Fans, would Riley and James make a good couple or do you think they’re better off as just friends?
