After the uncertainty of last week’s episode, hopefully things will start to become a lot clearer.
It’s the first day of rehearsal for A-Troupe and as they slowly enter the studio, an unidentified older woman is “doing some weird voodoo dance.” When Kate finally enters the studio, the team learns that this woman is Phoebe, Kate’s sister. Kate announces that Phoebe will be their new head choreographer.
The Next Step has officially decided to do “The Challenge,” to the disappointment of some of the dancers. Kate will now call all the other Studios and announce that they are holding auditions.
During a double date for Eldon and Michelle, and Riley and James, they notice Lucian yelling at Amanda. He cuts Amanda from Elite for failing the team because they didn’t win regionals.
Meanwhile at the studio, Phoebe and Emily are working on a routine for the auditions. All of a sudden a tall, dark and handsome stranger named Hunter walks in looking for his girlfriend… Michelle! Hunter and Michelle went to the same dance studio together and now he is here to audition for “The Challenge.”
While some of the dancers are hanging out at Culture Shock, Amanda from Elite walks in. Michelle has invited her much to the surprise of the rest of the dancers. Michelle and Amanda leave to go talk to Kate and Emily. Michelle requests that Amanda be given a fair chance to audition for A-Troupe. Kate agrees but Emily is still wary.
The auditions are about to begin and the dancers are sizing each other up. A-Troupe is really starting to get worried about possibly being replaced. All of a sudden Hunter enters the studio and immediately grabs Michelle for a hug. Michelle is shocked! She pulls him into Kate’s office and explains that she has moved on and so should he. Hunter is completely baffled!
Later on, Hunter pulls Emily aside. He desperately wants Michelle back and knows that Emily wants Eldon back. Together they plot the ultimate plan to break up Micheldon!
